- On some engines it is possible to remove a casing completely.
- If the car is equipped with AT, disconnect lines of cooling of transmission liquid from a radiator. Put the pallet for collecting the spilled liquid. Zakuporte open ends of lines and unions.

- Disconnect the thermoswitches of the auxiliary fan located on radiator tanks.

- The switches of high and low speed of operation of the auxiliary fan operated by the thermostat are located in radiator tanks, in different places depending on type of the engine and model of the car.

- Give bolts of fastening of a radiator. Bolts are usually located or in the top part, or on both parties of a radiator.
|
- Carefully remove a radiator from the lower support, trying not to damage the cooling plates. Not to a raspleskayta a cooler also do not scratch the painted surfaces of the car.
- The removed radiator can be examined on existence of leaks and damages. If he demands repair, address the expert since the special equipment for this purpose will be required.
- Dirt and remains of insects can be removed from a radiator by means of compressed air and a soft brush. At the same time try not to damage the cooling plates.
