9.2.5. Check of work and replacement of the switch of resolution of the start / switch of fires of a backing
If the engine is started not only at provisions "P" (Parking) or "N" (Neutral) of the lever of the selector, or fires of a backing do not light up at installation of the lever in situation "R" (backing), check the sensor switch of permission of start of a starter.

- Give the fixing screw of the handle of the lever of the selector and remove the handle. Hook and remove the covering panel around the selector lever basis.
|
|
|
If the scheme of an arrangement of plugs on the socket of the sensor switch of permission of start of your car does not correspond to any of given below, then check of operation of the sensor, perhaps, will require some special procedures. In this case provide check of the sensor to specialists of dealer office of the BMW service or auto repair shop. |

- On early models disunite sockets.
