13.8. Removal and installation of glass of a door

If the radio receiver on your car is equipped with system of protection against theft, make sure that you gathered the correct code before disconnecting a battery wire. Apply for information in the Section System of Protection of the Audio System from theft and language of an instrument guard before a wire detachment.


If after accession of a wire on your instrument guard there were inscriptions not in that language which is necessary to you, address the Section System of protection of the audio system against theft and language of an instrument guard where the procedure of installation of the necessary language is described.


 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Disconnect a negative wire of the battery.
  2. Remove the panel of a covering of a door and a plastic sealant (see the Section Removal and installation of the panel of an internal covering of doors).
  3. Remove internal and external sealing strips from a door.

Forward door

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Lift door glass so to provide access to fixing bolts through an access opening. On models with power windows for this purpose temporarily disconnect a battery wire.
  2. Prop up glass and give bolts of fastening of glass to a window regulator.
  3. Lift glass up that it came out a window opening, then incline it and pull out from a door.
  4. You make installation upside-down.

Back door

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Make all operations described in items 1-3 and 1-2.
  2. Release a bolt of fastening of a guide of back glass.
  3. Unfasten glass from a forward roller guide, disconnect it from guide rails, then take away glass back and remove, having captured him from above.
  4. Motionless glass can be removed, having given bolts of rails of a guide and then having pulled rails down and back and disconnecting glass.
  5. You make installation upside-down. Back glass can be adjusted, having released adjusting bolts and then having lifted glass up to the height about 3 cm from top of a window opening. Adjust distance between glass and an aperture that it was identical on all length, and then reliably tighten bolts.
