On brushes of screen wipers the road film collects over time, reducing efficiency of their work therefore brushes should be washed out regularly in the soft cleaning solution.
Check
Assemblies of screen wipers with brushes have to look round regularly. If survey revealed existence of hardenings or cracks on rubber of brushes, replace brushes. If at survey nothing unusual is revealed, wet a windshield, include screen wipers, let's them work a little and switch off them. Or strips on pure glass indicate an uneven trace from brushes on glass that brushes should be replaced.
During operation of the mechanism of screen wipers there can be a weakening of fixing nuts therefore they should be checked and as necessary to tighten every time when checking brushes (see the Head Steering for more detailed information on operation of the mechanism of screen wipers).
