17:31. Replacement of the fuel filter

Each 38 000 km of a run or time in two years

Gasoline is extremely flammable therefore during the work with any components of fuel system it is necessary to take special precautionary measures. You do not smoke and do not approach the venue of works with naked flame or the carrying unprotected by the lamp shade. You do not perform such works in the garages equipped with the heating devices using natural gas (such as vodogre, dryers, etc.). The working platform has to be ventilated well. At hit of gasoline on skin immediately wash away it water with soap. When carrying out any works with fuel system put on goggles and you hold near at hand the fire extinguisher.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

On models with system of injection of fuel dump pressure in fuel system (see the Head the Power supply system).
The fuel filter is located in a motive compartment on a partition or under the car near the fuel tank.
On some models the filter is located closely with a starter therefore fuel can directly follow on electric sockets. Therefore for safety reasons before work disconnect a negative wire of the battery.

If the radio receiver of your car is equipped with system of protection against theft, make sure that you gathered the correct code before a battery detachment.

If after connection of the battery of an inscription on an instrument guard appeared not in that language, address the Section System of Protection of the Audio System from theft and language of an instrument guard where the procedure of installation of the necessary language is described.

Place a vessel or pieces of rags under the fuel filter to collect the spilled fuel. If you have suitable collars for hoses, fix by them inlet and final hoses.

Disconnect hoses (A) and give screws/nut (V) of a bracket, then remove the filter and where it is available, assembly of a bracket. (it is shown for models with system of injection of fuel).

Disconnect the filter from a bracket.
You make installation upside-down. Make sure that shooters on the filter specify in the direction of the movement of fuel.
