16:21. Removal and installation of components of an instrument guard

The instrument guard and its components are very susceptible to static electricity. Make sure that you are grounded and on you there is no static electricity (touch a metal water pipe) before touching components of an instrument guard.

If the radio receiver on your car is equipped with system of protection against theft, make sure that you gathered the correct code before disconnecting a battery wire. Apply for information in the Section System of Protection of the Audio System from theft and language of an instrument guard before a wire detachment.

If after accession of a wire on your instrument guard there were inscriptions not in that language which is necessary to you, address the Section System of Protection of the Audio System from theft and language of an instrument guard where the procedure of installation of the necessary language is described.

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER

Disconnect a negative wire of the battery.
If it is necessary, remove casings of a steering column and the lower panel of a covering (see the Head Kuzov).

Give the screws holding a guard on the dashboard. Notice position of the lower screws that at installation to put them on the same place.

Incline the top part of a guard forward and disconnect electric sockets behind it, having pressed rychazhka, then pull out a guard from the dashboard.

For access to components of a guard release clamps or give screws divide two half.

Installation

You make installation upside-down.
